Ans - Yes, Didi was sitting on the grass.

Ans - Yes, I have seen such trees as the oak tree.

Do all the leaves have similar colors, shapes, and margins?

Ans - No, all the leaves have no similar colors, shapes, and margins. All the leave have different colors, sizes, and shapes.

Collect a few leaves of plants like lemon, mango, neem, basil (tulsi), mint (pudina), and coriander (dhania). Crush the leaves and smell them. Do they all smell alike? Can you identify the leaves just by their smell?

Ans - No, all the leaves do not smell alike. Different leaves give different smells. We can identify some of the leaves by their smell.

Look at the rubbings made by the others. Are the rubbings of different plants similar?

Ans - No, the rubbings of different plants are not similar.

Which leaf gave a good rubbing?

Ans. Leaves that have rough surfaces gave good rubbing.

In case of which tree was the rubbing of the trunk difficult? Why?

Ans – It is difficult to rub in a tree whose trunk is a plain and soft surface, while it is easy to get an imprint by rubbing in a tree whose trunk is a rough surface.

Ans – There is a pattern of leaves and flowers on the wall painting, curtain, pillows, girl’s trouser, book, bedsheet, and carpet in the given picture.

Ans – Various types of rose, Tulip, bonsai plant, Kaal Jhaad (kumaoni tongue), etc.

Choose a tree near your school or house and make friends with it.

Ans – Kafal tree.

Will you like to give your friend a special name? What will you name it?

Ans - Yes, I would like to give a special name to my friend it will be ‘king of Pahadi fruits’.

How do the leaves of the tree look?

Ans – The leaves of the Kafal tree are small, thin, and triangular. And their edges look like the edge of a sickle.

Do birds or animals live in the tree? Which ones?

Ans - Yes, many birds and animals live in the tree. Example: Monkey, Ape, Crow, Parrot, Sparrow, Myna, etc.
